    As Executive Director of the ODF, John works to support the outreach, educational efforts and programming of the staff, develop the resources for building programs and assure the Board of Trustees continues to better the ODF to provide better oral health for all Oklahomans.

    A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he has been married to Teresa since 1989 and lives in Oklahoma City with their two children:  Victoria and Landon.

    Prior to joining the ODF, John was the Executive Director of Safe Kids Oklahoma. He has been the owner of Alliance Resource Group, Inc., a consulting company specializing in not-for-profit fund development, board training, marketing and public relations. He has worked with non-profits and political campaigns throughout Oklahoma and across the nation since 1986. 

    His prior employment also includes Vice-President for Civic Affair at Oklahoma Christian University and the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum where he was in charge of fundraising.

    John is a deacon in his church and has been the Missions Ministry Director since 2009 with mission outreach efforts in 15 nations and a worldwide budget of nearly $2.5 million.

    Stacey manages the continuing education programs, oversees the day-to-day operations of the ODF, and coordinates various special projects.

    Stacey is a 1996 graduate of Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in Advertising/Public Relations and has a certificate in Meeting & Event Management from the University of Massachusetts. She is actively involved with her church and in the past served on the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Edmond committee.  In her spare time, Stacey enjoys spending time with family and friends. 

  • MobileSmiles Program Director

    Email Melissa

    Melissa is responsible for operations of the MobileSmiles Oklahoma (MSO) program in its entirety.  She oversees the administration of the physical units, revenues, staffing, and builds relationships with partners throughout Oklahoma.  Melissa creates and maintains an annual, planned schedule of the MSO mobile units and staff, administers patient records, and works with site partners for follow up care/dental home.

     Melissa began her dental career in 1997 as a certified dental assistant for Dr. Wavel L. Wells in Lawton.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Midwestern State University and a Master of Public Health degree in Health Promotion Science from the University of Oklahoma.

     Prior to joining the ODF team, Melissa served for seven years in the United States Public Health Service, working with Indian Health Service as a practicing hygienist, dental health educator and administrator for a federal grant program promoting oral health outcomes.  

    Melissa and her husband Garland live in Guthrie, Oklahoma with one very spoiled dog. Melissa enjoys spending her free time traveling and spoiling grandkids.

    Email Jordan

    Jordan joined the team after graduating from Oklahoma State University in May of 2016. During his first year with the foundation, Jordan served as both a driver of the mobile unit, as well as a dental assistant.  As a dental assistant, his role consisted of assisting with all dental treatments and making sure that patients had a pleasant experience while on the MobileSmiles unit. Jordan has recently transitioned to the MobileSmiles Program Coordinator position where his responsibilities include fleet coordination/management and other administrative tasks.  

    His passion for dentistry came to him after taking a life-changing medical mission trip to Guatemala when he was in middle school. At a young age, he was able to see the great need for dental care up close and personal and this sparked a fire in him to one day pursue a career in dentistry.

    Jordan plans on attending dental school in the future. Jordan lives in Moore with his wife Haley and son Travis.

    Email Cerissa

    Cerissa coordinates office activities and operations to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and compliance with ODF policies.  Some of her duties include supporting budgeting and bookkeeping procedures, assisting with Board of Trustee relations, travel assistance for remote staff and managing agendas for the Directors.

    Cerissa is a 2004 graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Advertising and she also earned her Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2013.  Prior to joining the ODF, Cerissa worked in the Client Relations department at Delta Dental of Oklahoma.  Her prior employment also includes Facilities Project Coordinator for the University Hospital Authority and Trust (UHAT) and Regulatory Programs Coordinator for OU Medical Center – Edmond.

    In her free time; Cerissa loves spending time with friends and family and giving back to the community through various ministry opportunities.
